Hizon's Pastries at the Promenade

Yesterday, I had a craving for Hizon's mocha cake and yema balls. Robin was nice enough to get me some yemas and a slice of the cake and as a bonus, he took a bunch of mouthwatering photos of Hizon's other specialties as well.

The sweets and photos are from Hizon's, Promenade Greenhills branch. Robin told me a lady had asked him whether he was taking pictures for a magazine. He said, no, it was just a hobby.

Wait, does a blog count?

Anyway, later I asked him, does he think anybody would have asked him if he were taking pictures for a magazine if he did it with a little point and shoot camera? Like my Kodak LS633 digicam for example. "No" was the quick answer. Nothing like a big camera like the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ50 to make you look like a pro, huh?

Yema Balls
The yema balls are Php20 each while a slice of the mocha cake is Php60. The pictures were free, courtesy of Hizon's.
