Aftermath of Typhoon Frank

Fortunately, these were the most interesting things I found in Malabon City on Monday, June 23, 2008, the day after typhoon Frank left the Philippines.

Some vehicles the Philippine Marines sent to Malabon to help in disaster relief operations

More shots of the "amphibian"

I spotted this one from City Hall. A stricken vessel in Manila Bay. No, it is not the MV Princess Star.

Several areas of the City suffered from heavy flooding, but there were no fatalities.

New dog in the kennel

Yup, we have a new dog at the Aloha Bears Kennel. A feisty little male Jack Russel Terrier puppy. Here he is on his first trip. So far, we have not yet agreed on a name for him.

Post more pics of him soon.
