Beach Dogs

Meet Hugo and Jaja. They are permanent residents of the Anahaw Island View Resort, Balite, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro.

According to his owner, Hugo takes regular dips to cool off.
Was trying to catch him in the water, but by the time I got the
lens cap off and set the camera to Program mode, his was already out.

I was fast enough to catch Jaja taking her dip.

...

Hugo and Jaja seem to have realized they are being observed!
Decided it was time to end the photosession.

Anahaw Island View Resort

The resort is located right on the beach

Anahaw Island View Resort is located in Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro. It is run by the Alcancia family. The family members of the family are very active in every facet of the operations, making you feel more like your are visiting long lots relatives rather than guests in a commercial establishment.

View facing south towards Calapan City proper.

Island hopping...

... and water sports are more the order of the day, but they do
have the occasional wild party (missed the FHM Bikini Open by a day).

Fishing here is still done the traditional way.

Nearing the end of a memorable day.
