Thirteen Martyrs of Cavite

The Thirteen Martyrs of Cavite (Trece mártires de Cavite) were thirteen Filipino in Cavite, Philippines who were executed by mustketry on September 11, 1896, for cooperating with the Katipunan during the Philippine Revolution against Spain. The city of Trece Martires in Cavite is named after them. A monument to the Martyrs can be found along Governors Drive.
