Pyro Olympics 2008

We reserved a table last week at Gumbo's at the Mall of Asia to have a nice view of the second week of the 2008 Pyro Olympics competition.

The barge where the fireworks will be deployed from is being prepared.

Most people were not expecting the fireworks to start yet as it had been raining... the first bang result to a organized rush to the exit.

Vintage Rolex Oysterdate

Thirteen Martyrs of Cavite

The Thirteen Martyrs of Cavite (Trece mártires de Cavite) were thirteen Filipino in Cavite, Philippines who were executed by mustketry on September 11, 1896, for cooperating with the Katipunan during the Philippine Revolution against Spain. The city of Trece Martires in Cavite is named after them. A monument to the Martyrs can be found along Governors Drive.
